Top 50 Selling Films Of All Time: 50-45

50. The Incredibles
Release Year: 2004
Worldwide Box Office: $624,037,578
Disney's film about superheros forced into a normal life, before having to save the world is the first entry to the top 50. The film won the academy award for best animated feature. It was also Pixar's first film to win multiple oscars. There has been rumours of a sequel, but with Cars 2 and Monster's University, the sequel to Monster's Inc, being the main focus of the company at the present time, we will all have to wait and see.



49. Kung Fu Panda
Release Year: 2008
Worldwide Box Office: $633,395,021
The next entry is Dreamwork's animated hit Kung Fu Panda, which has recently had a sequel released.
The film, starring Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and Jackie Chan, was nominated for many accolades but only won a handful, the biggest being the Annie award for best animated feature. Kung Fu Panda 2 will be expected to be as big as a hit as the original.





48. Star Wars: Episode 2: Attack Of The Clones
Release Year: 2002
Worldwide Box Office: $648,200,000
The penultimate film in the Star Wars series is number 48 in the list.
The title did not win any major awards but received many nominations and was a hit amongst the worldwide audience, although it received mixed reviews.






47.Pirates Of The Carribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl
Release Year: 2003
Worldwide Box Office: $653,200,000
The hit disney film is the next entry into this list, the film resulted in 3 later sequels with the latest 'On Stranger Tides' a recent cinema hit.
The film resulted in many nominations of Best Actor for star Johnny Depp and he picked up a handful of them. However, the film itself did not win any major awards apart from a BAFTA for make up and hair.






46. The Sixth Sense
Release Year: 1999
Worldwide Box Office:$661,500,000
The last 90's thriller starring Bruce Willis enters at 46.
Telling of a boy who can talk to the dead, the film picked up nominations for 6 Academy Awards, however it was uncessful and finished up empty handed. The film did pick up 3 People's Choice Awards including best actor for Bruce Willis.






45.Forrest Gump
Release Year: 1994
Worldwide Box Office: $679,400,000
Tom Hanks stars as Forrest, an very unintelligent man who accidentally appears in many historic events.
Based on the 1986 novel by Winston Groom, won 6 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Performance By An Actor In A Leading Role. It is the most succesful film in the list so far.
