This is a movie I wasn't really too fussed on seeing, it looked ok but I probably wouldn't have gone had it not been for my unlimited card, but I'm so glad I went.

The story is about a machine that allows you to go back and re-live the last 8 minutes of someones memory, used in the film to work out who bombed a train and prevent any future attacks.
The story is gripping, it starts straight away, there's no boring bits throughout the whole movie. I found myself sat there trying to work out who the bomber was from the first scene, the film makes you feel really involved.

It's not so straight forward though, this film does require a far bit of attention to comprehend what is happening on screen. If you lose concentration, you miss key parts, and then struggle to understand what is happening and the script throws up many surprises along the way.

For no part of the movie was I bored, or not paying attention. Like I said this film is gripping, and the best movie I've seen in a long time.
The actors all contribute to the atmosphere of the film well, even the passengers on the train who only speak once pay a important role to the storyline and progression of the movie.

While watching you start to make a list in your mind of who could be the bomber, and then you start crossing them out one by one, until you get down to your final guess. I have to confess, I didn't get it right, but in no way did it change my enjoyment of the movie, in fact I think it probably improved it.

I did however, guess the ending, but it was no way predictable. I only worked it out as this film is exactly what I love, and exactly the sort of thing that I enjoy. Everyone else in the cinema was saying how they didn't see that coming.

Afterwards, all I would do was discuss the plot of the movie, or 'what if' a machine like that really did exist, 'what if' this, 'what if' that. This movie stayed on my mind for all the right reasons, and the fact that I'm writing this blog a few days after I saw it, with the whole plot still etched to my brain says alot, as I usually forget everything.

Overall, a extremely good movie. Possibly the best I've seen since Inception, so go see it.

My Rating- 5 stars
