Thor 2 Gets Release Date

A sequel was definately on the cards given the recent success of Marvel's Thor. The next film in the franchise has been set a release ate of July 26 2013, which gives 2 years to work on the project.

The news is that Chris Hemsworth will continue playing his role into the next film, which doesn't throw up many surprises. However, for one reason or another Kenneth Branagh will not continue to be director on the sequel. Which leaves a lot of agents trying to get their client into the vacant chair.
No details of storyline have been set yet, with co-writer Don Payne throwing a few ideas around.

Thor's storyline continues in the up and coming Avengers movie, where Chris Hemsworth will star alongside Robert Downey Jnr. (Ironman), Chris Evans (Captain America) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow).
As well as Samuel L. Jackson, who continues his Iron Man 2 role as Nick Fury.
The Avengers is set for a UK release date of May 4th 2012.

Thor fans, your in luck.
